Responsibilities*
As an active member of the Chelsea Multispecialty clinic, the RN will provide culturally sensitive, age-specific population-based nursing care both in clinic and via telephone to support the Urology and Uro-Gynecology practices.
This position will manage the clinic nursing schedule, provider procedure support, clinic team support, and in-basket management.
This role includes pre/post-procedure management, symptom management, troubleshooting, patient education needs, bladder chemotherapy/biotherapy administration, medication administration, surgery coordination, etc.
Documentation of nursing care will be completed using MiChart (EPIC) and will be accurate and efficient using SBAR or SOAP formats if not using smart-forms.
Supporting the mission and philosophy of the department and the organization is essential to providing safe and appropriate care to our patients.
Maintaining a strong knowledge-base and use of internal and external resources available to provide care is expected.
The RN is an integral member of a highly collaborative team including physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative support staff.

Salary & Nursing Framework Level:
This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C.
Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.
Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level F.
Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position.
Posting may be filled after the initial 5-day posting period.

Positions less than 20 hours/week may be combined.

Required Qualifications*
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan Medicine
Three (3) years or more of RN experience
One (1) year of ambulatory care RN experience in an adult urology clinic in the last two (2) years

Desired Qualifications*
Experience with ambulatory adult UroGynecology population
Knowledge and experience with telehealth: triage, use of MiChart (EPIC), protocols, billing, etc.
Experience with urologic procedures e.g. urodynamics, SP tube changes, bladder instillations, Botox preparation, vasectomies, cystoscopies, etc.
