Position Summary

Join our team of caring medical providers! Student Health Services at the University at Buffalo is recruiting for a full-time, year round Nurse Practitioner. The Nurse Practitioner will provide high quality medical care to our diverse student population. The position will provide women’s health and trans-inclusive medical care.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness.
  • Thorough documentation of all patient encounters.
  • Interpretation of diagnostic test results.
  • Effective communication with patients regarding diagnosis, results and treatment plans.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing with specialty in adult primary care, family medicine, or women’s health with ANCC or NCC certification or eligibility for certification.
  • At least one year of experience providing patient care in an outpatient setting, including clinical rotations.
  • License to practice in New York State.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a college/university health care setting is preferred.

Salary Range

$90,000 - $92,000
