The UBMD Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology is seeking applicants for a full-time Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant (APP).
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) operates under the direction and supervision of one or more physicians, providing healthcare services for adults within the Division of Endocrinology.

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) operates under the direction and supervision of one or more physicians, providing healthcare services for adults within the Division of Endocrinology.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for evaluating outpatient endocrinology patients by obtaining health histories and conducting physical assessments during initial and follow-up consultations; reports and discusses pertinent findings with attending physicians when necessary.
- Participates and assists in the assessment and management of patients on insulin pumps and Continuous glucose monitoring devices.
- Participates and assists in the education of patients with diabetes.
- Extend and facilitate the outpatient practice of Endocrinology physicians.
- Any other duties as requested by collaborating physician, medical director and/or division chief.

Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in accredited NP/PA program
• Current NYS license, DEA and Board Certification
• Five (5) years APP experience in either endocrine practice or primary care
• Experience in managing complex patients with diabetes on pumps
• CGM experience required

Preferred Qualifications
• Must have ability to work independently, be flexible, demonstrate judgment and initiative while operating during demanding situations.
Salary Range
$110,000 - $125,000Additional Salary Information
The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.Job Type
